Reginald Webb

Non-Executive Chairman

Reginald Webb was appointed Chairman in January 2005. Mr. Webb has been a non-executive director for many years and has made a very significant contribution in helping to guide the company towards the stable and successful state that it now enjoys.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and was for many years a Partner of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (previously Price Waterhouse). In that position he worked in both North America and Europe as well as Australia. He was a partner for 20 years and served on the Policy Board of that firm. He is currently a Director of D'Orsogna Limited.

Peter Cumins

Peter Cumins

Managing Director

Peter Cumins is an Australian national. He is the Managing Director of Cash Converters and the brother of Brian Cumins, the company's founder. He joined the Group in August 1990 as Finance and Administration Manager when the Company had just 23 stores, becoming General Manager in March 1992. He became Group Managing Director in April 1995.

Peter Cumins, a qualified accountant, has overseen the major growth in the number of Franchisees in Australia as well as the international development of the Cash Converters franchise system.

His experience in the management of large organisations has included senior executive positions in the government health sector, specifically with the Fremantle Hospital Group, where he was Finance and Human Resources Manager.

Lachlan Given

Lachlan Given

Non-Executive Director

Mr Given was appointed to the Board of Directors in August 2014. He was a consultant to the Company prior to his appointment. Mr Given is the executive vice chairman of EZCORP Inc (a major shareholder in the Company). He is also a director of The Farm Journal Corporation, a 134 year old pre-eminent US agricultural media company; Senetas Corporation Limited (ASX: SEN), the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of certified, defence-grade encryption solutions; CANSTAR Pty Ltd, the leading Australian financial services ratings and research firm; and RateCity.com Pty Ltd, one of Australia's largest Internet based financial services comparison organisations.

Mr Given began his career working in the investment banking and equity capital markets divisions of Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong and Sydney where he specialised in the origination and execution of a variety of M&A, equity and equity-linked and fixed income transactions.

Stuart Grimshaw

Stuart Grimshaw

Non-Executive Director

Stuart Grimshaw was appointed to the Board of Cash Converters in November, 2014. He became the Executive Chairman of EZCORP in August, 2014. Mr. Grimshaw has a 30-year career in financial services and held a wide variety of roles across many functions of banking and finance. He served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Queensland Limited since November 2011. Prior to this he spent eight years at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and previously worked for the National Australia Bank, and was the Chief Executive Officer of Great Britain, with responsibility for large UK consumer banks Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank.

Mr. Grimshaw represented New Zealand at the 1984 Olympics in Field Hockey and has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand) and an MBA (Melbourne University, Australia). He has also completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.

Ralph Groom

Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Ralph Groom joined Cash Converters in August 1995. Previously he was the Finance Director and Company Secretary of Tony Barlow Australia Limited, a publicly listed retailer, where he was responsible for all financial and secretarial matters. Mr Groom remains a non-executive director of Tony Barlow Australia Limited.

Mr Groom is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) (ACMA), a Fellow of Certified Practicing Accountants (FCPA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (FCIS). At Cash Converters he is responsible for all financial aspects relating to the systems and management of Cash Converters.
